Abstract
454,364. Resistance coatings and deposits ; wire resistances. ELEKTRISCHE GLUHLAMPENFABRIEKEN J. KREMENEZKY AKT.-GES., 57, Dresdnerstrasse, Vienna. April 24, 1936, No. 11696. Convention date, April 26, 1935. [Class 37] After completion of a resistance element, for example, a coating or wire resistor employed in wireless apparatus, the end portions are metallized while conducting plates connected to the element nd to a resis - tance meter give the ohm reading and limit the area metallized. The plates 6, 7 are adjustably spaced on a resistance coating 2 and one of them is also adjustable in the vertical direction, the terminal ends being sprayed with a conductor from guns 10, 11. In an arcuate resistor 15, one or more screens 20 may be located between the plates 16, 17 for preventing shoot-circuiting of the resistance element. Where the resistor occupies more than one plane a number of plates 6, 7 are provided to embrace the whole contour. The method may be employed automatically to convey and eject the resistances with the meter set to a desired reading, stoppage being effected by the current when a faulty element is tested.
