452,701. Lubricating pumps. KALMANN, R. VON, 27A, Wildenbruchstrasse, Oberkassel, Diisseldorf, Germany. March 13, 1936, No. 7673. Convention date, May 17, 1935. [Class 102 (i)] A pump for lubricating the moving parts of machinery is mounted upon the moving part. In the Figure, the pump 4 is mounted on the bearing 1 of a crank pin and is actuated by an eccentric 5 driven through ratchet mechanism connected to rod 7. The pump suction I is positioned in a chamber 12, the highest point of which is connected by a non-return valve 14 to the oil reservoir 10. As shown, the chamber 12 is the existing drip cup of the bearing.
