Abstract
452,013. Photographic-film holders. BILLING, N. P., Royal Court Chambers, Sloane Square, London. Feb. 13, 1935, No. 4684. [Class 98 (i)] A holder for photographic sensitive material having a support of celluloid, paper, or other thin flexible material, comprises an outer envelope having one wall. provided with an aperture for exposure of the sensitive material, and an inner slide to cover the aperture, the outer envelope being formed by folding a blank of sheet material and retained by interlocking portions of the blank. The inner slide may be in the form of an open-ended envelope. In the form shown, the blank consists of four panels, one of which 10 has a rectangular aperture and a flap 27 on the upper edge. The remaining panels 11, 21, 25 extend from the other edges of the panel 10, one panel 11 being provided with flaps 14, 16, the latter having an extension 17. The panel 21 is also provided with a flap 22. In use, the sensitive material is placed on the panel 21, and the other panels are folded over this, being held in place by the interlocking of the flaps. An open ended envelope is then passed over the material and the panel 21. In a modification, both panels 10 and 11 are apertured, two films being inserted on opposite sides of the panel 21.
