[Class 78 (iv)] [See also Group V] Means for transporting and emptying moulds comprises a carrying stirrup member 1 provided with arms to which are pivotally connected frames 4 which carry gripping members 7 to engage the mould. The mould is turned over to empty it. The gripping members comprise discs 7 and plates 6 mounted on a bolt 5. By turning the bolt 8, the disc 7 is moved axially to approach the plate 6 and thus grip a plate 20, attached to the mould between them. A projection 9 on the disc 7 may enter a hole in the plate 20.
