448,782. Vehicle wheels. HAMILL. W. W., Woodlands, Forest Lane, Chigwell, and KELSEY-HAYES WHEEL CO., Ltd., Dagenham Dock, both in Essex. Dec. 11, 1934, No. 35508. [Class 144 (i)] A wheel comprises an apertured disc 6 in which the flanges 9 surrounding the apertures 8 are outwardly flared as shown at 12 to direct air-flow towards the periphery of the brake-drum 10. As shown in Fig. 2, the walls of the apertures may be shaped to produce Venturi effects.
