[Class 87 (i)] The overlapping sheets a of tarred felt or the like forming a roof or like covering are provided along the longitudinal edges with interengaging fillets b, Fig. 2, which are formed by the attachment to the sheets of narrow strips of the same material as the sheets, the strips being attached to the underside of a sheet along one longitudinal edge thereof and to the upper side along the other edge. The fillets may be provided with projecting interengaging lips e, as shown in Fig. 4. The sheets may be stuck to the support c or connected thereto by nails d.
