[Classes 16 and 146 (i)] [See also Group XIX] A combined file for papers, letters, &c. and perpetual calendar comprises a container divided by loose partitions, having a front set for days, numbered 1 to 31, a back set for months, and an intermediate partition for days of the week, and having a movable circular tape thereon to align the day of the week in accordance with the date, the arrangement being such that the front partition is removable to the back of the front set so that a consecutive file for papers up to one month ahead is provided. The sets of partitions b, c, Figs. 4 and 5, are accommodated loosely in a container a, and are separated by a partition d. The days of the month and months of the year respectively are marked on tabs b<1>, c<1>, which may be integral or attached to the partitions b, c. The tabs b<1> may be arranged in seven and the tabs c<1> in six columns from front to back. Documents to be dealt with at a certain date are placed in front of the corresponding partition b or c and dealt with as the partitions are transferred to the back in rotation. The partition d carries a day of the week indicator in the form of an endless ribbon f, adjustable by means of a tag f<1> to agree with the tabs b<1>, and may be provided with a pointer h slidable along a guide i to indicate the current month on the tabs c<1>. The partitions b, c, d may be differently coloured. Each partition b may carry working such as " To-day's date."
