438,830. Electric incandescent lamps. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. Dec. 13, 1934, No. 35816. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1933. [Class 39 (ii)] An illumination projector device for a vehicle comprises a multi-filament incandescent lamp, Figs. 5 and 6, having filaments arranged normally to each other, the relative position of the filaments being such that, when the lamp is arranged in the working position in the projector, the main filament is normal to the road and the auxiliary filament lies parallel to the road at some distance above the horizontal median plane of the bulb. The filaments have straight axes and are arranged in T-form, the horizontal limb of the T being inclined to the lamp axis. The projector has a front disc provided with normal prism-like corrugations and the focus of the reflector may be located in the vertical limb of the T.
