Abstract
436,808. Wireless receiving-apparatus. COLE, Ltd., E. K., Priory Crescent, Southendon-Sea, MARTIN, A. W., 1, Thames Close, Leigh-on-Sea, and HUNT, H., 37, Highfield Grove, Westcliff-on-Sea. April 21, 1934, No. 12030. [Class 40 (v)] A structural combination of inductance coils and condensers,applicable particularly to fixed tuned stages of intermediate frequency amplifiers in superheterodyne receivers, comprises a T-shaped insulating member, the vertical limb 3 of which carries the inductances 7, the condensers 5 being housed in recesses 4 formed in the cross limb 2. The limb 3 may be tubular to receive a powdered iron core and the whole is mounted on a screening casing 11 by the nut 12. The condensers 5 are adjustable by means of the nuts 9. In a modification shown in Fig. 5, three inductances are mounted on the insulating member 3, the third coil 51 having a trimmer condenser 52 mounted on a bracket 53.
