Abstract
436,311. Valves. SANTON, Ltd., and SANDERS, H. C., Somerton Works, Newport, Monmouthshire. May 2, 1934, No. 13201. [Class 135] [See also Group XIII] Water from an electrically heated tank is led to a wash basin through a valve comprising two members 11, 12 with internal annular passages 14, 15 mounted on a pin 13 so that on movement of the outlet pipe 18 ports 17 in the member 12 are brought into register with corresponding ports in the member 11 to open the valve. A cork inset 19 with apertures corresponding with the ports 17 is mounted between the members 11, 12. When this valve is closed, water passes to a higher open outlet.
