Abstract

436,127. Knitting-machines. FAIR. WEATHER, W. C., 65, Chancery Lane, London.-(Elite Diamantwerke Akt.-Ges.; Siegmar, Saxony, Germany) April 24, 1935, No. 12313. [Class 74 (ii)] A knitting-machine needle bed is provided with replaceable U-section guides 3 for the needles or jacks. These guides are inserted in tricks 2<1>, which are enlarged to receive them. The continuations 2 of these tricks receive the hook ends of the needles and are of normal width. The guides 3 are held in place by transverse bars of dovetail crosssection.
