Abstract
433,772. Inductances. POLYDOROFF, W. J., 609, West Lake Street, Chicago, U.S.A., and ALADDIN INDUSTRIES, Ltd., Greenford, Middlesex. Aug. 25, 1934, No. 14159/35. Divided out of 429,826. [Class 37] A high-frequency variable inductance is provided with a core 5 of comminuted magnetic material which is moved relatively to two coils connected in opposition, the arrangement being such that as it is moved out of one coil it is simultaneously moved into the other. Coils 1, 2 may have different diameters and are coaxial, a switch S disconnecting the coil 2 or connecting it in series opposition. The unit may be employed over two or more frequency ranges, the switch being automatically operated by the core. Specifications 366,475, 403,368, 403,426, and 434,675 are referred to.
