433,439. Pedal-crank driving-mechanism. SCULLY, T., 6, Beresford Street, Waterford, Irish Free State. April 5, 1935, No. 10561. [Class 136 (ii)] In pedal-crank driving-mechanism for cycles, of the type in which the crank D carrying the pedal B is mounted so as to rotate about a fixed eccentric disc G, and is slidably connected to another crank E fixed to the axle I, the slidable connection is effected by means of a pin or projection A arranged on the crank D at an intermediate point between the pedal axle and the crank axle and engaged with a slot &c. F in the crank E. The chain wheel J is secured to the inner end of a sleeve C, which is fixed interiorly to the crank axle I and exteriorly to the crank E and passes freely through the eccentric disc G. Specification 11152/96, [Class 136], is referred to.
