Abstract
432,997. Saucepan &c. handles. JOSEPH, Ltd., N. C., and JOSEPH, B. C., Birmingham Road, Stratford-on-Avon. Sept. 24, 1934, No. 12390. [Class 66] In a saucepan &c. handle comprising an attachment part 3, a non-rotatable hand grip 1, and an outer nut or suspension fitting 7 screwing on to a reinforcing pin 8 and clamping the hand grip in place, the part 7 is interlocked with the hand grip to prevent relative rotation of the parts. The hand grip, which may be a plastic moulding, conveniently of hexagonal form, is provided at the ends with recesses 2 to receive respectively projections 4, 5, on the end face of the part 3 and a locking washer 9 which, after assembly of the parts, is soldered at 8<a> to the fitting 7. The inner threaded end of the reinforcing pin is upset to form a head engaging the shoulder 3<a> of the counterbore 10.
