[Class 99 (ii)] A centrifugal tool for de-scaling condenser &c. tubes comprises cutters or brushes g which are rotatably secured by studs e to the enlarged outer ends of levers c, the latter being pivotally mounted on pins d within slots of lugs b projecting from a hollow body member a which is provided with a coupling n for connection to a flexible shaft. The inner ends of the levers extend into the body a and are formed with inclined surfaces for engagement with the coned end face of a hollow plunger h which is acted upon by a spring j, adjustable by a plug l at the end of the said body, to assist in urging the cutters outwardly. Outward movement of the cutters is limited by an adjustable sleeve p which is screwed on to the body a to extend beyond the pins d.
