Abstract
432,375. Kinematograph apparatus. CONSTRUMENTS, Ltd., and MAYTUM, J. A., 18, Gray's Inn Road, London. March 1, 1934, No. 6621. [Class 97 (i)] Intermittent-feed mechanism comprises a film-engaging toothed disc, spider, or the like, 8, rotated by a driving member 11 through a coil spring 12, and provided with a flat-sided boss 13 against which a blade spring 16 bears to hold the disc until the tension of the spring 12 is sufficient to effect rotation. The member 11 may be directly driven by a handle 10 or, through gearing, by a handle or motor. The member 11 may be a wheel gearing with a wheel on the shutter shaft and may be geared to the take-up spool; the take-up spool may, alternatively, be driven from the disc 8.
