Abstract

431,883. Cleaning shop windows. WORTHINGTON, L., 324, Talbot Road, Blackpool. Feb. 22, 1934, No. 5831. [Class 138 (i)] A horizontal bar 6 is provided with two grooves to accommodate a strip of soft rubber 7 and a strip of sponge 8, the rubber projecting beyond the sponge to engage the shop window. The bar 6 at each end has a slide with a T- shaped end engaging a slot in a guide 1. The slides are connected to cords 16, 17 associated with pulleys 11, 13, 14, 15 so that on pulling the cords 16 the bar is raised, being lowered on pulling the cords 17.
