Abstract
430,812. Motor driving-arrangements. BAUER GES., E., 10, Neckarstrasse, Untert³rkheim, Stuttgart, Germany. March 2, 1935, No. 6609. Convention date, March 3, 1934. [Class 35] A clutch member is caused to move into or out of the coupling position by connecting it to the motor rotor which is moved axially by the magnetic drag exerted when the stator is moved axially. In the form shown, the stator a is moved axially by the handle o and the movement of the rotor b thereby produced causes the clutch member d on the rotor shaft to engage either of the clutch members f, g. These members co-operate with means to drive the driven shaft in opposite directions, so that the driven apparatus may be rotated in either direction at will without reversing the motor. The handle o is attached to a nut p working on a threaded boss q and it moves the stator axially by means of rods t. Stops are provided to hold the clutch member d in the clutched or idle positions.
