[Class 126] In a radiant gas heater comprising a curved metal or other reflector 2 the sources of radiant heat comprise coils of heat. resisting wire mounted at one end on the burner nozzles 8, and either unsupported at the other end, as shown at 9, or bent to loop form and mounted at the other end on an adjacent burner, as shown at 10. The end turns of the coils may be of a size to grip the nozzles 8, and the coils may be tapered as shown.
