[Class 69 (iii)] [See also Group XI] In a burner of the type in which oil is atomized by being flung off the rim of a rotating cup the oil is delivered to the cup through a rearwardly directed annular opening e in a distributing head d and the inclination of the inner surface f of the cup relatively to the axis h diminishes progressively towards the rim g. The surface f may be either continuously curved or consist of a number of frustoconical portions of diminishing apex angle.
