Abstract

In producing porcelain-jacketed tooth crowns, a drawn metal sleeve, on which raised portions and indentations are provided inside and outside, is moulded by nippers &c. in the patient's mouth so as to conform to the shape of a tooth stump previously subjected to a preparatory treatment, following which the metal sleeve is removed, fitted with a porcelain coat moulded to the shape of a natural tooth crown, and fixed to the tooth stump by cement.
