Abstract

423,218. Heating cooling water. YACCO S. A. F., 42, Avenue de la Grande ArmÚe, Paris. May 15, 1934, No. 14651. Convention date, July 22, 1933. [Class 7 (ii)] [See also Group XXXIV] A heater for both the cooling-water and the lubricant, intended to facilitate the starting of the engine, comprises a tank a for the water and containers f for the lubricant. The heating means may comprise an electric heater, or ribbed flues d rising from benzine or petrol burners b. The heated water contacts with the greater part of the outer surfaces of the containers f which may be filled with oils having different viscosities. A heat recuperating tank j connected to the tank a by piping k is arranged below the burners. The liquids either circulate through the heater, or are pumped therefrom by pumps g.
