420,805. Generating high-frequency oscillations. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.- GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. March 1, 1933, No. 29500/34. Divided out of and addition to 419,136 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Oct. 2, 1933. [Class 40 (v)] [See also Group VI] In high frequency medical apparatus of the kind set forth in the parent Specification, the separate intermediate closed oscillatory circuit is a non-syntonized circuit which may have a natural frequency within the range of frequencies used for treatment. The coupling of the circuits may be inductive or capacitive. As shown, a generator circuit 1 is coupled to a treatment circuit 4 through an intermediate circuit 3. The intermediate circuit is formed of two induction coils 6 and 7, and parallel wires 5 the length of which can be varied by means of telescopic parts 12 and 13. The inductive coupling of the coils 6 and 7 with the generator and treatment circuits respectively is made tighter by the unipolar connections 16 and 17.
