420,769. Feeding webs. KRANTZ, H., and KRANTZ, W., (trading as KRANTZ SOHNE, H.), Industriestrasse, Aachen, Germany. Nov. 7, 1933, No. 30962. Convention date, Nov. 7, 1932. [Class 100 (i)] Fabric F is fed with the warp in a loose state on to tenter chains 21 by feeding it over a guide roller 40, past spike wheels 38, a triangular member 41, and brush wheels 35, which press the fabric on to the hooks of the chains 21. The spike and brush wheels are driven through gearing from the shaft 27 of the chain sprockets 28, and have a slightly greater peripheral velocity than the chain sprockets. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 305,616, [Class 42 (i)].
