[Class 4.] Control means for aircraft include a servo. flap e actuated by a link and lever system which includes a lever jh pivoted on a member d rigidly secured to a main control surface a so that a load applied to the lever jh is also applied to the surface a. As shown, the short arm h of the lever is actuated through a link m and the flap e pivoted to the elevator is operated by the long arm j of the lever through a link n, one end of which is connected in one of a number of holes o in the lever to facilitate adjustment.
