Abstract

416,773. Hydraulic compressors. FONSON, O., 44, Rue de Pascale, Brussels. Jan. 15, 1934, No. 1471. Convention date, June 15, 1933. Addition to 416,770. [Class 8 (i).] In apparatus for compressing gas for raising liquids as described in the parent Specification, in which water from the mains 11 is admitted alternately to two gas-compressing cylinders 1 under the control of a four-way cock 10, the passages 6 leading to the cylinder 7 which operates the cock 10 are controlled by cocks 5 operated by lower floats 15. The rod 14 of each float 15 carries a bracket on which a bell-crank lever 17 is pivoted and one arm of this lever engages a fixed detent 19 and prevents the rise of the float 15 until the lever is tripped by the rise of an upper float 21.
