Abstract
415,000. Wet - doubling of yarns. DRESDNER STRICKMASCHINENFABRIK IRMSCHER & WITTE AKT.-GES., 31, Therandter Strasse, Dresden, Germany.- (Assignees of Bassenge & Fritzsche; 5, Gewandhausstrasse, Dresden, Germany.) April 9, 1934, No. 10669. Convention date, April 11, 1933. [Class 120 (ii).] In wet-doubling machines in which the yarns run vertically through running water, a tank 1 is provided with discharge outlets 2, preferably constituted by converging vertical plates, so that the yarns F pass through a substantially horizontal stream which is drained from a vessel 3 by a pipe 4. In front of each outlet a cell 7, formed as shown or as a recess in the bottom of the tank, is provided to avoid flow under an unduly small head.
