[Classes 92 (ii) and 119.] In order to prevent a percussion-cap 18, which may have become loosened, from falling out of a cartridge-case 15 during ejection and so possibly jamming the breech-action, a chisellike ejector 12 is provided which indents the base of the cartridge adjacent the bore receiving the percussion-cap, when the breech is opened.
