Abstract

412,322. Wire brackets; step-ladders. FAGEN, S., 5, Walter Street, Hulme, Manchester. Jan. 26, 1933, No. 2463. [Class 52 (v).] A wire bracket for supporting shelves, stock racks, the treads of step-ladders &c. comprises a single piece of wire having a bent end b adapted to take in a hole in one upright a, a horizontal portion adapted to support the shelf &c., a bent portion d adapted to seat in a channel formed in a second upright e spaced from the first, and an inclined strut portion g bent at its end c to take in a lower hole in the first upright. The ends b, c are sprung into the holes, and secured by riveting them over washers, and the channels in the second upright are closed by a capping plate f. The shelf, tread &c. is shaped at the ends to fit between the uprights.
