Abstract

412,086. Mincing-machines. COCKER, M., 48, Railway Road, Darwen, Lancashire. Oct. 20, 1933, No. 29036. [Class 28 (ii).] Apparatus for extruding two kinds of edible commodities, one within the other, comprises a barrel B within a barrel B<1> and worms E, E<1> inside and surrounding the barrel B respectively. A cutting plate and knife (not shown), of known construction, may be applied in front of one or both screws, the plates being secured to the barrels B, B<1> The hopper is divided by a partition c into two compartments C, C<1> each with a weight N, N<1> to feed the material to the worms. The worm E is threaded on the shaft e which has a square end to drive the worm E, and also to drive a spider e2 on the worm E<1> whereby both worms are driven by the shaft e.
