Abstract
408,946. Spray carburetters. LEMOINE, P. L., 81, Rue de la Tour, Paris. Oct. 20, 1933, No. 29144. Convention date, Oct. 21, 1932. [Class 7 (iii).] In a carburetter of the float type, to allow the needle valve 6, which is controlled by the float 5, to be dismantled from the outside without causing the float chamber to empty, the orifice 13 which the valve 6 controls forms part of a conduit 9 which is connected by flexible tubing 8 to a fuel supply conduit 7, and the conduit 9 enters a hole 12 in the cover 11 of the float chamber 10, the tubing 8 allowing the conduit to be deformed so that its extremity may be removed from the carburetter sufficiently to release the needle. The conduit 9 may have a conical end which is pressed by a screwed collar 14 on to the cover 11, if it is desired to form a fluid-tight joint.
