408,809. Storing air and gases. LINDE AIR PRODUCTS CO., 30, East 42nd Street, New York, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Edwards, H. D. ; 55, Pinebrook Drive, Larchmont, New York, U.S.A.) April 24, 1933, No. 11966. Convention date, May 20, 1932. [Classes 8 (ii) and 102 (ii).] Liquefied gas from a portable main container 10 is forced along the pipe 16 by the gas pressure generated in the auxiliary container 18, this pressure being transmitted by the pipes 27, 25. The liquefied gas in container 18 is refrigerated by the liquefied gas in the pipe 16 and may be heated by the heater 30, 31. The auxiliary container is filled by the pipe 24, and is used to supply gas to the mains 20, 26 during the interval required to replace the emptied container 10 by a full one.
