Abstract

400,887. Bolts. ARCO-LEICHTMETALL GES., 50, Franzosische Strasse, Berlin. June 20, 1933, Nos. 17593 and 17594. Convention dates, June 29, 1932 and Jan. 26, 1933. [Class 89 (i).] The bolts 4 and nuts 5 for securing a detachable wheel are formed with mating spherical surfaces 6, 7 for clamping concavo-convex bosses 8 on the hub-portion 1 of the wheel. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the surface 6 is provided on a separate washer 10 clipped on the bolt, the washer having a second conical surface 11 adapted to seat on the web 3 of the brake-drum, or the flange 2 of the axle-hub. The bore of the washer 10 may be coned to facilitate centring.
