Abstract
398,453. Mixing cement. DEUTSCHE WERKE KIEL AKT.-GES., 114, Werftstrasse, and KLIE, W., 127, Werftstrasse, Kiel, Germany. April 19, 1933, No. 11485. [Class 86.] A device for mixing cement comprises a barrel in which is mounted a shaft having vanes at its upper end which atomize the dry cement as it falls into water in the lower part of the barrel, the lower part of the shaft being fitted with stirrers. The cement is fed from a hopper b and the stirrers k co-operate with fixed rods m projecting from the bottom of the barrel. Water is supplied by a pipe n and the mixed cement discharged through a pipe p. The vanes h for atomizing the dry cement are inclined as shown.
