Abstract

397,782. Piston-rings. OUBRIDGE, W. A., Parklands, Park Road, Coventry. March 7, 1933, No. 6841. [Class 122 (i).] In compound rings of the kind comprising two superposed split rings a, b of angle section, the gap in the former is covered by a projection b<2> on the radial flange of the latter when the ring is compressed. The axial flange a<1> of the ring a is recessed to accommodate the projection.
