Abstract
389,356. Mercury vapour rectifiers. AKT.-GES. BROWN, BOVERI, ET CIE, Baden, Switzerland. July 21, 1932, No. 20644. Convention date, July 21, 1931. [Class 39 (i).] Connection between the leading-in wire n and the control grid d is effected by means of a sliding contact. A spring - pressed piston f is housed within an insulating bush g, secured to the shield e, or to the casing, and contacts with an arm i securing the grid d to the anode insulator c. The bush g may extend to the anode cover or may be connected thereto by a separate tube o. In a modification the contact consists of a spring tongue, housed within an extension of the sleeve.
