Abstract

388,343. Garment racks. TOWNSEND, R. G. G., 2, Bennett's Way, Shirley, Croydon. Oct. 27, 1932, No. 30197. [Class 52 (v).] A device for suspending the cloths, dusters, or the like comprises an apertured wooden plate a on which is mounted a rubber diaphragm b formed with radial slits e opposite the aperture(s) to form three or more converging resilient tongues into which is inserted the article f to be suspended. The device may be provided with a cover-plate c having corresponding apertures d, and the points of the resilient fingers may be removed to form a small hole at the centre of the diaphragm.
