387,623. Animal-carrying vehicles; vehicle fittings. MARKALL, W. E., 4, Bedford Road, Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Sept. 20, 1932, No. 26116. [Class 108 (i).] Vehicle doors.-In an animal-carrying vehicle the end gates are also adapted, when open, to form the side walls of a loading ramp. As shown the gates comprise vertical end members 1, 2 connected by cross members 3 with supplementary vertical and cross members 4, 5 all so arranged that the gates can be swung about the vertical member 1 to form a closure for the vehicle and also they may be movable in their own plane so that their lower edges may contact with the ramp 8. Prongs 7 may be provided to lock the gates to the ramp.
