Abstract

384,886. Gas masks. SCHLEICH, F., 42, Weinstrasse, and CLORA-FABRIKATE CLOETTA & CO., 93, Pfadstrasse, both in M³nster, Stuttgart, Germany. April 11, 1932, No. 10333. [Class 81 (ii).] A gas mask of leather, rubber, or other soft material is made from two like parts, Fig. 4, the middle connecting edges e extending as undulated or similarly shaped lines as shown in Fig. 4, so that a shape conforming closely to the forehead and nose is obtained. Additionally, the eye rings n are in one vertical plane, Fig. 2. On the temple portion, pieces b extending to the eye apertures c are cut out and the resulting edges joined, and below the aperture for the mouth ring o, the lower edges l are strongly curved to conform with the chin. The side edges i extend as straight lines.
