Abstract

382,769. Fastenings. HILL, W. J., 4. St. Paul's Square, Birmingham. Nov. 17, 1931, No. 31823. [Class 44.] In a fastening of the kind wherein a loop or similar member c is engaged with and disengaged from a stud or other projection e by a finger lever b, the loop or frame member c is pivoted to the lever b which in turn is pivoted to a baseplate a of the fastening, and the frame c has a cam face c<2> which co-operates with the baseplate a to rock the frame c on its pivots into a position for engaging the projection e during the manipulation of the lever b. Springs may be mounted on the pivots of the hand-lever and frame to assist in holding the parts in desired position.
