Abstract

382,531. Directing vehicle lamps. LOGAN, R. P., Ross Street, Yeppoon, Queensland, Australia. March 17, 1932, No. 7937. [Class 75 (iii).] In means for directing vehicle head-lights from the steering-gear, the lamp spindles are rotatably mounted on ball bearings in hollow standards B bolted to the dumb-irons A and are connected together by arms F and a link H and one of the spindles is provided with an arm F<1> connected by a link L to one end of a lever N mounted on a ball bearing O on a bracket P on the front end of the dumb-iron carrying that lamp, the other end of the lever being connected by a link R to the steering arm. The links are connected to the arms and lever by ball-and-socket joints.
