Abstract
381,516. Washing-machines. HOUZVIC, S., 18, PetrskÒ Ul., Prague. May 26, 1932, No. 14951. Convention date, May 30, 1931. [Class 138 (ii).] The clothes &c. are pounded by corniform plungers 4, 4a which are secured to a rock-shaft 12 eccentrically arranged across the top of the container 1. A plate 7 may be arranged within the plungers to trap a quantity of air on the downstroke and a quantity of water on the upstroke. The shaft 12 is pivoted or locked at 13, 14 to a shaft 8 which is rocked from a crank 15.
