381,138. Toy cycles and scooters. HANSEN, C. P., 18, Mainzer Strasse, Wilmersdorf, Berlin. June 18, 1932, No. 17280. Convention date, July 10, 1931. [Classes 136 (i) and 136 (iii).] In a toy cycle for children of the type having a small rear wheel 5 and a large front wheel 1 driven by means of handcranks 4 on its axle 2, the rider leaning with his chest on the inclined upper part 3<1> of the frame 3, the rear wheel 5 is mounted in a fork 7 formed with a stem 9 rotatably mounted in the frame 3 for steering by means of the feet resting on footboards 8 projecting laterally from the fork. The vehicle may be propelled like a scooter by pushing with one foot on the ground, the other foot resting on one of the footboards ; in this case the rider grasps the support 3<1> with his hands.
