Abstract
380,976. Bulkheads. MACGREGOR, R. and MAcGREGOR & KING, Ltd., 5, Lloyds Avenue, London. Oct. 28, 1931, No. 29880. [Classes 113 (i) and 113 (ii).] Ships' bulkheads are provided with slidable sections 1 which carry wheels 2 provided with eccentric bushes so that, when the slidable sections have been rolled into their desired positions the bushes can be turned to lower the section to the floor. Top and bottom channel guides 5, 6 are provided for the sections. The sections are provided with stiffeners 9 which are on the side opposite to those of the permanent bulkheads to allow the slidable sections to stow close when moved back.
