Abstract
377,651. Steam boiler water tubes ; tubes for heat exchangers. DIETERLEN, H., 3, Rue Pierre Ducreux, Paris. Jan. 20, 1931, No. 1850. Convention date, Jan. 21, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Classes 64 (i), 64 (iii) and 123 (ii).] Metal strips 4, Fig. 1, are so secured to the outer surface of a tube 1 of a boiler, economizer or like heat exchanger that each strip forms two or more longitudinal fins. A single strip may be bent to form a number of longitudinal channels 6, Fig. 2, around the tube. The metal of strips may be of higher conductivity than the metal of the tube, and strips on a tube may be made of different metals. Specifications 364,861, 366,262, 371,347, and 377,643, [Group XXII], are referred'to.
