376,983. Hydraulic transmission of power. VOGTLANDISCHE MASCHINENFABRIK (VORM. J. C. & H. DIETRICH) AKT.-GES., Plauen, Vogtland, Germany. Aug. 17, 1931, No. 23138. Convention date, Aug. 15, 1930. [Class 69 (ii).] In a hydraulic drive for machines, a twostage pump 1 supplies, under the control of a common device, high or low pressure to either end of a working cylinder 10. The control device consists of a valve having pistons 12 .. 15, operated manually by a lever 32 or automatically by cams 38 .. 41. When the valve is in mid-position, the low-pressure inlet is located between the central pistons, and the high-pressure inlets 19, 20 between the end pairs. Non-return valves 25 .. 28 are provided, and the supply of liquid may be additionally controlled by adjustment of the pump or the use of throttle valves 17, 18. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the replacement of the piston valve by valves operated by a rod carrying cams. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
