[Class 40 (v).] A receiver E, Fig. 2, is protected from disturbances due to an adjacent source of high-frequency energy by enclosing it in a screen B and arranging chokes L in all the out coming leads, except the earth lead, condensers C being associated with the chokes as shown in Fig. 2. In addition, a high-frequency choke L, Fig. 3, may be arranged in the lead to the grid of valves in the receiver, condenser C being connected between grid and filament.
