373,571. Sliding-clasp fasteners. WALDES, J., PUC, V., MERZINGER, E., and WALDES, Z., (trading as WALDES & Co.), 478, ul. Krßle Jiriho, Prague. Feb. 24, 1932, No. 5502. Convention date, Feb. 24, 1931. Addition to 325,459, [Class 44, Fastenings, Lock &c.]. [Class 44.] Instead of embedding the members 3 of a sliding-clasp fastener in rubber covering strips as described in the parent Specification, the strips 2 are simply applied over the members and are secured by vulcanizing to the stringers 1. The strips may project into or through the slots of the slider 4 to increase the area of contact between the strips and stringers. Strips may be provided on one face only of the fastener, or, as shown, on both faces.
