Abstract
373,466. Motors. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. July 7, 1931, No. 19523. Convention date,. Aug. 4, 1930. [Class 35.] Brush - holders; terminals a n d accessories, a r - rangement on ma. chines.-In a small electric motor, particularly suitable for operating windscreen wipers on motor vehicles. a fixed insulating plate 7 mounted adjacent the commutator 11 supports the brushholders 9 on one side and a switch contact or contacts 12, 13 on the other side, a switch handle 15 being mounted in the motor casing to operate the contacts. The plate 7 is secured to the polepieces 5 by means of a yoke 6. The handle 15 is rotatable in a detachable casing cap 14 and is provided with an insulating cam 16 which presses the contact 13 against the contact 12. A pin 17 on the armature shaft 3 projects through a bore in the plate 7, which bore can be constructed as a bearing. The brush-holders 9 are carried by two bolts 8 and are pressed against the commutator by a single spring.
