[Class 74 (ii).] Knitted pile fabrics are made by combing into the hooks of the needles of a knitting- machine individual even pile elements and knitting them in, one pile to each needle, with a basic strand of cotton yarn. The product is subjected to a pulling process to cause the knitted-in portions to hide the basic strand and to render the fabric non-ravelling..
